LG G Flex to release next week in South Korea

LG’s first flexible display smartphone will launch next week in South Korea, with a European launch apparently set for December.
The LG G Flex will cost 999,900 Korean Won when it launches on November 12 in the region, which translates to around $940 – this is the unlocked price for the handset.
While the LG G Flex will be released in South Korea initially, the phone will make it to other markets including Europe. According to LG, Orange will sell the phone in France starting with December, although pricing details for this market have not been revealed yet.
Interestingly, French publication FrAndroid says that the phone will be launched by Orange France only in February 2014, with the carrier expected to be an exclusive LG G Flex provider in the country.
LG has only mentioned Orange France as an European launch partner for the handset.

Flexible display may or may not be a necessity in mobile devices, but what’s certain is that both Samsung and LG seem very interested in convincing us that we need such devices.
